The objectives of BDFI is to promote the spirit of good fellowship and sportsmanship and to protect and advance the interests of all those, who have an interest in the competitive dance world.
As a non-profit making organisation, BDFI works to further the goodwill and co-operation between the federation and all those who utilise the services of its members and the governing Dancesport bodies worldwide.
To this end, it is the intention of the BDFI to be a truly independent body, which is headed by an international selection of Directors.
