Ballroom Dancers' Federation International

The BDFI witll be presenting two scholarships during the Blackpool dance festival.

These awards are to honour the names of three great and dearly beloved former Champion dancers.

“The BENNY TOLMEYER SCHOLARSHIP” will be presented to the winners of the British Amateur “Rising Star” Ballroom competition. They will be awarded £ 500.00.

“The BILL AND BOBBIE IRVINE MBE SCHOLARSHIP” will be presented to the winners of the British Amateur “Rising Star” Latin competition. They will be awarded £ 500.00

Presentation will be made by Alan Yeh (Chinese Taipei National Director of the BDFI) at the culmination of each event on Sunday 27^th May at the 2012 Blackpool Dance Festival. This award is in addition and separate from the prize money presented by the Blackpool Dance festival.
